  The current "Super Head (Stage 3)" is widely used in racing. And in pursuit of stabler power output and increased durability, with our fuel-consumption strategy in mind, we have developed a "Twin Spark Super Head (Stage 3) for racing under harsher conditions. All this was made possible with the use of a twin plug in the current "Super Head(Stage 3)."
Special Parts Takegawa has been marketing the Super Head, incorporated with a twin plug, for use on Monkey (horizontal engine).
And we have employed its features of the efficient burning and better mileage in the Super Head for XR/CRF100 (vertical engine).
Details of the Super Head (Stage 3) cylinder head
 

In connection with the use of the big valve, the shapes of the combustion chamber and port are specially redesigned to match each other, making the cylinder head more powerful than the standard ones.
port sizes: The intake port is D Shape, and the exhaust port is 29.0 mm in diameter.
Features of Super Head valve: The valve stem shaft is made slimmer and the girth is processed to offset the weight increase caused by the use of a big valve. Thus, the valve has become lighter and the loss caused by the weight increase is brought down to the minimum.
Diameters: Intake valve: 28.5 mm, Exhaust valve: 23.5 mm, Valve stem shaft: 4.5 mm (for intake and exhaust alike)
Features of heavy-duty valve spring for Super Head: The use of a spring with progressive pitches (two-stage pitch) is helpful in avoiding the valve surging as much as possible when the engine is running at high-revolution speeds.

A titanium valve-spring retainer is used.
As ball bearings are used to support a camshaft, the performance and durability of the camshaft are improved at the same time when rotating at high revolutions.
Cast-aluminum piston
The Super Head (Stage 3) has a higher combustion efficiency and gets the most out of R-Stage through the optimization of the balance between combustion chamber shape and compression ratio. We have coated the skirt of the lighter piston with molybdenum in order to better the initial-stage lubricated contact of the piston with cylinder.
The Twin Spark Super Head Kit comes in six types of displacement: 115cc, 120cc, 124cc, 130cc, SCUT 125cc or SCUT 136cc
・You can increase the displacement of types 115cc, SCUT 125cc and SCUT 136cc, using a stock crankshaft, just by replacing the cylinder head, cylinder and piston only.
・As the displacement of 124cc will be increased by the bore-upped size and longer stroke, you need to split the crankcase and replace the crankshaft with ours.
・A stock crankshaft will be used in installing the 120cc. However, as the cylinder is of the racing type with the thick-walled sleeve and improved durability, it is necessary to do the boring process of the crankcase. And we accept the request for the crankcase-boring process with charge.
・The displacement of 130cc will be increased as a result of the bore-upped size and longer stroke, which necessitates the splitting of the crankcase and replacement of the crankshaft with ours. Moreover, boring process of the crankcase is required because the cylinder is of the racing type with a thick-walled sleeve for higher durability. We accept crankcase-boring request with charge.
・SCUT 125cc and 136cc are designed to enlarge the displacement substantially using a stock crankshaft without the need to split or modify the crankcase. The displacement-increase structure of the SCUT series is already patented.
Details of an SP TAKEGAWA's bore-upped cylinder
On to the cylinder, an optional M5-type thermosensor can be installed. So, you can measure the cylinder temperatures by installing a TAKEGAWA's compact (M5 sensor type) LCD thermometer. As an oil outlet to the oil cooler is included as standard equipment, you can manage the oil temperature properly when you install our optional Oil Cooler Kit.

Bore up cylinder for 115 or 124cc
An all-aluminum ceramic-coated cylinder is used which excels in durability, gas-tightness and cooling efficiency.

Bore up cylinder for 120 or 130cc
An all-aluminum ceramic-coated cylinder is used which excels in durability, gas-tightness and cooling efficiency. And the product is rendered all the more cooling-effective with an enlarged cylinder fin.
SCUT cylinder for SCUT 125 or 136cc (Cylinder structure: PATPEND)
An all-aluminum ceramic-coated cylinder is used which excels in durability, gas-tightness and cooling efficiency. And the product is rendered all the more cooling-effective with a large-sized cylinder fin.Being oil-jet machined (PATPEND), this SCUT cylinder dramatically excels in lubrication and cooling efficiency of the cylinder, piston and connecting rod.
In case you install a Twin Spark Super Head, it is essential that our TAKEGAWA's hyper C.D.I. is also installed at the same time.
To get the maximum performance out of the Twin Spark Super Head, it is advisable that you install a Carburetor Kit, exhaust system and Clutch Kit separately.

Billet-aluminum gear shift pedal for Ape 50/100,

  In order to improve the upshifting and downshifting operation, we have used a 111mm-wide gear shift pedal, 7 mm longer than a standard one, with a 104mm shaft center. Thus, pedal operation with a light touch of the pedal is made possible.
You can install this product on Ape50/100, XR50/100 Motard, Monkey or Gorilla with the use of an included collar.
This product, being made of silver-anodized billet aluminum, makes your motorcycle look great and nice. Moreover, when the supplied billet-aluminum blind cap is fit into a gear shift pedal mounting hole, your motorcycle looks much better.

As far as Monkey is concerned, this product is for exclusive use on its carburetor type only. NOT usable on its injection type.
